Mozilla for mobile in 2010

Great news Firefox has announced that its free browser for mobiles will be released in 2010 initially for Maemo5 based N900 mobile sets later on will be introduced for other handsets too. After the launch Fennec can be downloaded straight from Mozilla website or Nokia’s Ovi Shop.

The much awaited mobile version of Firefox called Fennec has been under production for over a year and half, and will finally be plunged soon. Jay Sullivan, Head of Development of Mozilla informed that Fennec is presently in the final stages of testing and hopefully will be available in just few days.

Fennec characteristics a syncing feature by which, when the browsing session is initiated on the mobile it’ll start from the same page that’s on the PC. Apart from this Fennec also has other attractive add-on feature.

Firefox has already secured the second rank in the list of popular browser, just after various versions of Internet Explorer (Microsoft), right now it is competing with Opera, Safari and Windows Mobile to capture emerging market of mobile browsers.
